Questions, answered
How it works, in plain terms.
The launch timeline, the founding program, and the logistics behind every order: pricing, stock, billing and shipping.
When does IHR go live?
IHR launches in Spring 2027. You can join now, connect your store and set everything up in preview mode — explore every dashboard and use the full AI Marketing Suite. The one thing that waits for launch is live transaction processing: real orders start routing, splitting and paying out when IHR goes live.
What is a founding retailer?
Founding retailers are the stores that join during the launch phase to help build out the network before Spring 2027. Sign up before March 31, 2027 and every growth feature we launch stays free for you through December 31, 2027. After that you can convert to a paid plan, or stay on the free Starter plan — your choice. There's no cost and no card required to claim founding access now.
Can I really use everything before launch?
Yes. In preview mode you can connect Shopify, Wix or WooCommerce, import catalogue products, build campaigns with the full AI Marketing Suite, set up automations and funnels, and configure your fulfilment rules. Live orders simply don't process against real money until launch, so you arrive at Spring 2027 fully set up and ready to sell.
Who sets the price my customers pay?
Both you and the brand. The brand sets a minimum advertised price (MAP), and you set your own retail price at or above it. You can price below MAP only when the brand approves it; the plugin has a built-in request-and-approve flow for exactly that. MAP is enforced automatically on every other sale, so pricing stays consistent across the network.
Where does the stock come from?
You don't need to hold all of it. When an order comes in, IHR routes it automatically: your own shelf first, then the store in the network nearest your customer that has it in stock, which ships it and shares the margin with you. Only if no store can fulfil it does it fall back to the IHR distribution centre, a distributor, or manufacturer dropship.
How does billing work, and how do I get paid?
Customers check out on your own store. Behind the scenes IHR reconciles the split through Stripe: the brand's wholesale cost, a small platform fee, and your margin. Your funds arrive within about 48 hours of delivery. No invoicing, no spreadsheets, no net-30 terms.
Who pays for shipping?
The customer pays shipping at checkout. For every order, IHR automatically selects the cheapest reliable carrier across Canada Post, UPS, FedEx, Purolator and more.
Who charges the customer's card?
Checkout happens on your existing store, so the customer pays you directly. IHR works in the background to calculate and distribute each party's share. You never change how your store takes payment.
What does it cost me?
Nothing to join now, and nothing until launch — founding retailers explore the full platform free during preview. When IHR goes live in Spring 2027, the Starter plan stays $0 a month with a 5% fee per fulfilled order. Paid plans lower the fee: Growth is $149 USD a month (4%), Professional is $399 USD a month (3%), and Enterprise is custom — and founding retailers (signed up before March 31, 2027) keep those growth features free through December 31, 2027. AI marketing is 5% of ad spend. There are no setup fees.
What if I both sell and fulfil the order?
You keep 100% of the retail margin, no split. When another store in the network fulfils something you sold, the margin splits 60% to the store that ships and 40% to you (the seller). When a brand or distributor is on either side of the order (it ships what you sold, or its own website sells and you ship from your shelf) the margin splits 50/50.
Do I need a developer or a new website?
No. IHR plugs into the store you already run, including Shopify, Wix, WooCommerce and more. Setup takes minutes, with no code.
